Third Tuesday Check In on Tax Day, April 15

Join us for “Third Tuesday Check In” on Tuesday, April 15th from 7:00-8:30 p.m. @ Classroom #3 of Heart Hospital Austin

Most of us think of April 15th as Tax Day… when we release our data for income tax purposes.

This April 15th, we have an opportunity to join with others to release our stress through mindfulness meditation practice.
Hopefully the outcome will be that we are “less taxed” and more at ease, regardless of our monetary situation.

With the support of others in the MBSR community you can firm up your intention to more consistently pay attention to thoughts, emotions and bodily sensations while exploring the barriers to mindfulness in order to deepen our commitment and our practice.

We hope you can join us. If you plan to come, we would appreciate it if you would take a moment to buy a free “ticket” to the event on our web site. This helps us to get an accurate headcount and plan for seating.

Our updated website

Dear Friends of the Stress Reduction Clinic,

We are delighted to introduce our updated website:

If you are receiving this announcement by email, it is because you have previously been on a mailing list maintained by Sharyn Reynolds.  In the future, you will automatically receive emails from SRC through our blog.  We will periodically post updates about upcoming classes, events, information or articles about mindfulness and stress reduction that could help you with your ongoing practice.  If you don’t want to receive these emails, you may unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the link at the bottom of the email message.

You will notice several changes on our new web site including:

  1. This year’s dates for the upcoming Eight Week Stress Reduction Clinic are listed on the home page.
  2. Our Events pages now contains the schedule, detailed information and registration options for our upcoming events.  This includes the free Third Tuesday Monthly Check In, the One Day Silent Retreat and the Eight Week Stress Reduction Clinic.
  3. Additional information about all our services including individual instruction and downloadable Guided Instructions from our CDs is available on our Services page.
  4. In order to make it easier for our clients to pay online, we have created a Shop page where clients can create an account to register for events and services and to make payments using a credit card or PayPal.  You may also use the web site to pay by check.

We hope these changes will make it easier for you to access our services and for SRC to serve your needs more efficiently.  We will continue to make changes to our graphics and materials.  We were eager to share the new site with you as soon as possible.  We also hope to stay in better touch with you through our blog posts.

Thank you so much for your ongoing support of the SRC and your practice of mindfulness.  We hope to see you at one of our events in the near future.

Warm regards and good wishes,

Paul Keinarth, Sharyn Reynolds and the SRC team.
