This day-long silent mindfulness retreat is part of the 8-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Class and is open to graduates of MBSR and mindfulness courses and to experienced mindfulness practitioners. It is a six-hour, guided, teacher-led silent retreat, designed to cultivate a deeper practice of moment to moment presence without the distractions of daily life. The day will consist of alternating periods of sitting and walking meditations, mindful eating, guided mindful yoga and loving-kindness meditation. Participants will be invited to ease out of their silence at the end of the day by sharing their experiences with group discussions.
You must have previously attended an 8-week MBSR clinic or have an established meditation practice.

$50 (includes lunch). If you are participating in the current MBSR 8-week class, there is no charge for this retreat and you should not register for it. Limited partial scholarships are available – please contact us.
